A Thailand eSIM from Monsoon Travellers gets you online the moment you land. Buy before you travel, install over WiFi, and your data is ready as soon as you arrive. There are no airport SIM kiosks, no paperwork and no roaming bills.
Our Thailand plans connect to AIS and DTAC, on 4G and 5G where your phone and location support it. Coverage reaches the cities and the main islands such as Phuket and Koh Samui. Coverage is strongest in major cities and popular tourist areas, and as with any mobile network it can be weaker in remote or rural places.
It depends on how you travel. As a rough guide:
Choose a plan and check out in under a minute. Your QR code arrives by email within minutes. Install it over WiFi before you fly by tapping the "Install eSIM" button or scanning the code. When you arrive in Thailand, switch on data roaming for the eSIM line and it connects automatically. You will need an eSIM-capable, carrier-unlocked phone.
Most phones from the last few years support eSIM, including iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer. Your phone also needs to be carrier-unlocked. If you are unsure, look for an "Add eSIM" or "Add Mobile Plan" option in your phone settings.
Validity begins on first use, when your eSIM first connects to a network in Thailand, not when you buy it. You can install it days ahead over WiFi and it will not start counting down until you arrive.
Yes. AIS and DTAC reach the main islands like Phuket, Koh Samui and Koh Phi Phi as well as the cities. Signal can be weaker on small or remote islands and on boats between them.
These plans are for Thailand only. If your trip covers more than one country, our Southeast Asia and Asia regional eSIMs work across multiple countries on a single plan.
